I installed it but I see a red big X mark on project file which I got from other person who worked on it. Form 2 also incorporates select tools from Trapcode Particular 2, such as Streaklet particles, Textured Polygon particles and Shading for AE lights. I downloaded Red Giant Application Manager and all I see is Trapcode 15. 
The included presets also make an excellent starting point for your project. Trapcode Particular is a paid After Effects plugin and it is part of the larger Trapcode Suite from Red Giant.
However, Form 2 removes the limits on the base shape, so you can customize the shape or import 3D objects or sequences through the OBJ importer. Form 2 is backward compatible with version 1 and even keeps the base shapes. You can make words dissolve into sand, make a logo catches on fire, and now you have the power to make 3D sequences explode into particles. Trapcode Form 2 provides you the tools to make and control virtually any 3D Form you can imagine. The plug-in supports both Windows and Mac platforms, working with select versions After Effects.
